Glass Containers receives award in occupational wellbeing

The Distinction is a recognition the Institute of Safety & Occupational Wellbeing granted. It values organizations that stand out for their commitment to their employees and society in Health, Safety, and Welfare.

On October 22, 2024, Vitro Glass Containers received the international recognition "Distinction in Occupational Wellbeing" for its commitment to its collaborators' wellbeing. 

The Distinctive identifies four principles that provide a clear and structured guide for organizations to implement effective policies and practices that improve the quality of life of their collaborators in the work environment. These principles are:

1. Physical Satisfaction: This focus is on ensuring that the work environment conditions are optimal for the health and comfort of employees.
2. Affective Satisfaction: This focus is on the emotional and social aspects of well-being at work. It seeks to create a positive work environment where employees feel valued, respected, and emotionally supported.
3. Cognitive Satisfaction: This addresses the professional and personal development needs of employees. It focuses on providing learning opportunities, clarity of job expectations, and active participation in decision-making.
4. Work-life balance: This approach focuses on the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between employees' work responsibilities and personal lives. It seeks to implement policies enabling employees to manage their personal and work commitments effectively.
